1) Think about a current or former boss that you really liked and one that you did not like much. What were the differences between their management styles? What did you like or not like about their styles?

2) Douglas McGregor believed there were two types of managers: Theory X managers, who assume that workers dislike work, lack ambition, and require constant supervision; and Theory Y managers, who assume that employees enjoy work, are self-directed, and seek responsibility.

3) Read the short write-up on page 50, "Social Values Shape Attitudes Toward Your Company and Its Products". Answer the following questions in your post:
