What were some of the challenges in a creating a query (even small ones)? For use in a fully developed data warehouse, how might you make it easier for users to create queries from the accumulated data? Discuss more than one method, approach or tool that might support this.

In a fully developed data warehouse, searching for information should be well supported in terms of the data structure. How does the changes made to how the data is organized and stored make the warehouse poorly suited for being used as a day to day transactional system? Also, would the data warehouse be useful for general users in an organization to perform system wide queries as part of their daily jobs? Why or why not?

With a limited look at the data University has in application used by students, what might be some challenges that a University might face in managing that data? How might maintaining the data warehouse affect that maintenance and development on the individual apps that feed it? How might the ability to join together data from various systems in ways not foreseen change the challenge of protecting students information?
