In what ways have you and others constructed your racial identification? My physical appearance and other personal factors have influenced how I identify as a Korean American. This includes my darker skin tone, straight hair, and round-shaped face. In terms of racial identification, social factors have played a significant role in shaping my perception. Society has consistently categorized me as Asian, which has had a profound impact on how I identify myself. I have found that cultural factors, such as embracing Korean traditions and values, have played a significant role in shaping my racial identification.

Additionally, political and historical factors have influenced my racial identification. Being a first-generation immigrant, historical and political factors have also influenced my racial identification. How is this different from the construction of your ethnic identification?
