Valle-Cruz and colleagues (2020) describe the challenge as the need for more efficient development of public policy that is a reflection of the needs of the public and is transparent in its activities. These scholars suggest an innovative approach by apply artificial intelligence (AI) to make feasible the implementation of a "Dynamic Public Policy-cycle" conceptual framework. The idea is to use AI to more quickly process the information needed as inputs to various public policy options and scenarios.
