Daniel is a 15yo male. He is of an Indian background. Daniel has a younger brother, Sam 13yo. They live with their father who is an alcoholic and physically violent when he is drunk. His father started drinking 1 1/2 year ago when Daniel's mother died from a car accident. Daniel and his brother attends school regularly and has reported that they "prefer to stay at school than go home". At school Daniel has been educated about youth refuge facilities and services.
He and his brother have presented to WAYSS for refuge because their father is drunk and has became abusive at home.
