Problem- .15g aminophenol, .45 ml water, and .165 mL acetic anhydride were added to a vial along with a spin vane. They were heated to far, far above the temperature ideal for creating acetaminophen. Charring occurred. We were unable to isolate product.
What happened to the chemical makeup of the reaction mixture when the reaction was heated above the boiling point? What product would this situation most likely obtain? What possible reactions could be run to make it possible to obtain crystals upon crystallization?

Please explain why you chose your answer Any help is greatly appreciated
