A square-shape ''double loop'' structure of side a as shown in Fig. is made out of conducting wire with resistance per unit length equal to R0. This wire structure is in plane perpendicular to the uniform external magnetic field B as displayed schematically in the figure. The non-zero component of that external field changes with time t as B (t) = B0 + α cos (ωt), where B0, alpha and ω are given time-independent constants. What power P is dissipated in this wire structure? How should the linear size of the square (that is, a) be changed to increase the dissipated power by a factor of 8?
