Drawing conclusions The goal is to learn something about the process at hand by studying patterns in the time series. Use the time series plot constructed in step 2 to answer the following questions.
a. What pattern in the data would suggest improvement over time? Did you improve over time? Among the members of the class, find one that showed marked improvement over time.
b. What pattern in the data would show a stable process over time (one with no obvious improvement or deterioration)? Find at least one plot that shows a relatively stable process.
c. What pattern in the data would show deterioration of the process over time (the process is actually getting worse with time)? Can you find a plot that shows deterioration
d. Taking into account the various patterns of the data, discuss possible rules for selecting a winner of the "Flick the Nick" competition. The class should reach a consensus and "award" an appropriate prize to the winner.
