Question: A large space station is constructed in the shape of a hollow cylinder of radius 500m. The station is set in rotation around the axis of the cylinder so that people walking on the inside of the cylinder experience artificially gravity similar to that on the earth g=9.8m/s2.

Part A: What must be the period of the rotation to accomplish this?
