Problem: A person holds a 5-kg weight in each hand with arms outstretched while standing at rest on a light-weight platform that is free to turn about a vertical axis. Other people then set the person turning at a rate of one turn per 7.2 s. The person then lowers the weights until they are alongside the person's legs. At this point, the person is spinning once every 1.2s.
