In pairs, read the following case and answer the following two discussion questions Most studies show that health and well-being are linked to employee engagement, productivity, talent retention, creativity, and innovation. In other words, it's good business to encourage "wellness" among its employees. With this in mind, the management committee of GlobalTek (including the chief communications officer) has decided to launch a "Wellness Challenge" program to provide educational materials and programs that would "challenge" employees to become healthier, control their weight, get more physical exercise. The challenge is that GlobalTek, a telecommunications company, has 50,000 employees, including 10,000 in Europe and Asia. It's the responsibility of the corporate communications department to plan and execute the campaign. One key objective is to get at least 30 percent of the employees invalved in the "challenge." Another objective is to make the program fun and enjoyable for employees to motivate their participation.
