Assignment:

Nations long ago realized that the world could not afford criminal jurisdictional gaps between nations. Because of this, the jurisdiction of each nation was extended beyond its land borders. Each nation has established territorial jurisdiction in the waters and airspace around it. In 1893, the United States claimed sovereignty over waters extending 200 nautical miles from the United States and its possessions.

Today a major topic is our southern border with Mexico and the possibility of building more barriers to slow down illegal immigration into the United States. What is your position concerning our southern border? Should we build a wall? What do we do with the people who are currently in our country illegally?
