As a consumer (and particular as a consumer who fashions himself a marketer) I have found myself frustrated when finding that an item I want is "Out of Stock" or when I shop online and find the ordering process to be complicated. I was not aware of the rule of thumb for Internet market sites of "8 seconds" to be able to download an item on the Internet or consumers give up trying. I can definitely relate to this as a consumer. I am a fan of Amazon, and I love the fact that I can buy with one-click when I want something. I used this same thought process for my own website that sells movie tours. I am not able to get it to one-click for purchase, but I make sure that a "Book Now" button is available on every page of the website.
