Homework: Senior seminar research
For this homework, you must turn in a short statement of what your project is about (just a few sentences). Along with this, you must provide an annotated bibliography with a list of at least 2 sources, ideally 3-5 sources. Underneath each entry on the annotated bibliography, you will provide a few sentences explaining the main idea of that piece, and if it's not obvious, why that piece is relevant to your project.
This is your first attempt, you will revise this based on feedback.
In the final and most ideal form, the annotated bibliography will be an alphabetical list of your sources, and under each one will be an annotation.
This is a short paragraph (or two), describing, analyzing, and critiquing each source. The annotation goes directly below the reference. The annotation should be more in-depth than just a summary. There should be an analysis of the source that goes along with the description.
The annotations shouldn't just describe what the source is about, but also how it adds evidence to your specific research question. What is unique about the information presented in this source that will help build an argument?
