One requirement of a power generation system states that it must provide 500 kilowatt hour minimum output. the system has three power generating subsystems (X, Y, and Z) constraints on physical size indicate that the output capacity of the overall system will be split among the three subsystems in the approximate ratio of 5:3:2 suppose a design margin 3% is applied to the subsystems. note that because the power requirement is stated is minimum output, the design margin would set the target output at 3%higher requirement.
