A social construct has to do with the history of ideas that create a meaning of an identity category. Share your thoughts about the social construction of Native, Black, and people of color's racialized identity and status in the United States. In other words, how was their status defined by U.S. policy (laws)? How did racial policies negatively impact their U.S. citizenship during the 20th Century?
