1. Using the percent passing developmental courses in shown in the table for your campus in Fall 2009, what is the sampling distribution model of the percent passing developmental courses for your campus in Fall 2009? That is, what is the mean ( )and the standard deviation SD ( )? See page 460 or 463 in your textbook.
2. Using the 68-95-99.7 rule, to describe the sampling distribution for the proportion of students passing developmental courses for your campus in Fall 2009. Provide the percentages between which we would expect to see 68% of the sampling distribution, 95% of the sampling distribution and 99.7% of the sampling distribution.
3. In Fall 2010, what % of students passed developmental courses at the campus you selected? Is that percentage unusual based on the sampling distribution you determined for Fall 2009? Is the percentage unusually high or low?
Assume that the class has 60 students and that the examination period is 90 minutes in length. How many students do you expect will be unable to complete the exam in the allotted time.
By using the fact that Martha believes the treatment will decrease the amount of time to fall asleep, describe the null and alternate hypotheses.

Multiple choice question based on multiple regression - The t value obtained from the table to test an individual parameter at the 5% level
If the estimate is to be within 8 mpg of the true mean with 98% confidence and the estimated standard deviation is 22 mph, how large a sample size must be taken?
Indicate which would be the independent variable and which would be the dependent variable in each of the following:

If you have a statistical package that computes binomial probabilities, find the probability that at least five funds outperform the market in all 10 years.
Correlation based on Scatter Plot - Draw the scatter plot for the variables.
What is Peter's median grade point at graduation? What is the shape of the grade point distribution?
What is the probability of finding 1 or more children with chronic bronchitis in a population where the incidence rate of chronic bronchitis is 10% (like the one above?)
