Solve the given problem:

Problem: Imagine a board sticking off a cliff. The board has mass M and length L. In order to see into the depths better, you extend the board a distance x over the edge and walk to the end to look down.

Part A: If you have mass m, what is the maximum distance x you can use before you will tumble into the abyss?

Any help I can get on this problem is greatly appreciated! I'm not too familiar with this problem.
