Water seeps vertically downward from the bottom of a lake through a uniform material to an aquifer below. The discharge is 0.005 ft^3/s through a 1 ft^2 area of the lake bottom.

The lake is 50 ft deep and the elevation shown on the diagram are given in feet above sea level.  What is the hydraulic conductivity of the material between the lake and the aquifer ? Assume there is no horizontal flow in the aquifer. ( hint : the hydraulic head at the lake bottom is equal to the elevation of the lake) .
