At the Front Desk, new patients reported an average time of 30 minutes, while follow-up patients reported an average time of 25 minutes. The standard deviation for both groups was 4 minutes.

In the Radiology department, both new patients and follow-up patients reported an average time of 58 minutes. The standard deviation for both groups was 22 minutes.

The hand-off of X-ray films to the clinic took an average of 3 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients, with a standard deviation of 2 minutes.

In the examination room, new patients reported an average time of 38 minutes, while follow-up patients reported an average time of 33 minutes. The standard deviation for both groups was 19 minutes.

Meanwhile, staff estimates of processing times per activity were as follows:

Front Desk Operations: a. Registration: The 3 clerks are available from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The average processing time is 5 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients. b. Verification: The 3 nurses are available from 8:30 AM to 12:45 PM. The average processing time is 9 minutes for new patients and 4 minutes for follow-up patients.

Radiology Department: a. X-ray Imaging: The 6 technicians are available from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The average processing time is 11 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients. b. Development of X-ray: This activity is available from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The average processing time is 7 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients.

Hand-off of X-ray to Clinic: a. Collection of X-ray: The same 3 nurses from Verification handle this activity and are available from 8:30 AM to 12:45 PM. The average processing time is 2 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients. b. Direct Patients / Filing / Exam Room Prep: 1 nurse is available from 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM. The average processing time is 2 minutes for both new patients and follow-up patients.

Exam Room:

A. Surgeon: The surgeon is available from 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM. The average processing time is 7 minutes for new patients and 4 minutes for follow-up patients.

B. Senior Residents: There is no specified average processing time for new patients. For follow-up patients, the average processing time is 7 minutes.

C. Cast Technician: The cast technician is available from 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM. The average processing time is 17 minutes for new patients and 13 minutes for follow-up patients.
