1. Summarize some potential explanations regarding the wage premium for lesbian women relative to their heterosexual counterparts. Then, write about your opinion on which of the explanations you believe to be true and why. You may use examples from your life or what you observed in real life.

2. Describe both the one-step method and two-step method to ask about gender identity. In doing so, please name at least one data set that uses the one-step method and at least one data set that uses the two-step method. Then, discuss whether the two-step method used in one of the papers that we covered is a good way to ask about gender identity. Suggest potential improvements to the two-step method.
