4. As a sales supervisor, you have booked a function room for a small party and now have an opportunity to sell the room to a larger group that will generate significantly higher revenue. There is no other place to put the small group. What would you do?

5. You supervise a friend who is unable to perform to required standards. According to company policy, you should meet with the employee to discuss the situation and write a report about his shortcomings for his personal file. What would you do?

6. You are in charge of receiving products for the hotel. Through a delivery error, a larger quantity of product is received then is entered on the delivery invoice; the property will need to pay only the smaller amount unless the supplier is notified of the error. What would you do?

7. You are writing a report for the general manager to advise her about which company the hotel should select to replace an expensive water-heating system. One supplier's representative offers you a free weekend at a resort if you "put in a good word for our product." What would you do?
