A refractive index (n) is 1.5 and the radius of curvature (R) is .6m. What it is the appropriate equation to calculate the focal length (f) of the lens.

I wrote f= (n-1)(2/R) which gave me a 1.667 m = 166.7 cm.

Is this correct?

The next part of the lab has you measure the focal length and it is different from what I measured on simulation and it ask why?
