History of Forensic Expert Testimony

Since Edmund Locard, there has been tremendous growth in forensic science. There are four main reasons that there has been an increase in the number of forensic laboratories since the 1960's.

Forensic scientists do much more than process, analyze and compare evidence. The scientist must be qualified as an expert witness. This assignment will give you an opportunity to explore the question, "What is an expert witness?"
