Sample Question: Technology

I guess you can call technology the "Gift and the Curse". The gift would be the fact that at the turn of the 20th century artists were getting more exposure through the media and radio and such. So they were able to see other forms of art work and was no longer confined to the art of their surroundings. Also artists were able to think out of the box a little more as well.

But then we have the curse of technology because it allowed so many people to see so much from around the world. I think we see a lot of copy cat work because of it. It is no longer what I think art is. It's more like what the world thinks art is.

What ever happened to the great artists of the 18th and 19th century or the early 20th century for that matter. Don't get me wrong; you still have some very creative artists in the world but you also have some that are not very good because of what the world tells them. Explain
