Baby boomers are retiring by the thousands. Many have pensions from their employers that will supply them with a monthly annuity for their retirement years. What goes on behind the scenes with Pension Funds? How are they funded? Who manages Pension Funds?

Conduct internet research on pensions and locate at least two pension funds. In your report illustrate the role of the pension in retirement planning. Discuss the asset allocation of the pension fund examples located in your research. Hypothesize to the overall health and safety of pension funds in light of the country's recent recession.
