Question: In Topic 2 you interviewed your mentee to gather their needs and in Topic 3 you built a plan around those needs. With your mentee, complete each of following:

Observe your mentee conducting the lesson using technology discussed in Topic 2. During the lesson, note at least two positive and two areas for improvement for your mentee. Following the lesson, share your feedback and answer any questions the teacher may have regarding the lesson.
Review the Topic 3 coaching plan with your mentee and discuss how it will be used for support. If your plan was not built for your mentee, use it as a starting point for your conversation. Discuss how each individual session would address their needs. If the plan was not created for the mentee, review each session and discuss how each could be adapted to fit the mentee's specific needs or grade level.
Determine which of the three sessions would be most beneficial for you and the mentee to complete first. If the plan was not for the mentee, choose one of the sessions from your plan or discuss a new session that would be appropriate. Additionally, it is important to have a shared vision for technology in your school. Start this process by making a shared goal that will assist you both in reflecting on successes and continually improve your coaching and teaching practice. This goal should be connected to your observations of the mentee and the use of technology in the classroom to support student learning.
Research 2-3 new educational technology applications with your mentee to demonstrate how to look for new technology possibilities. Discuss whether the mentee would like you to incorporate either of the tools into your one-on-one session during Clinical Field Experience C.
Following the discussion and time with your mentee, create any materials needed for the chosen one-on-one session.
