Introduction

You should have reviewed all the client information in Week 1 by now, and should be comfortable that you understand the client's current situation as well as their needs and desires. This week you'll begin thinking about strategy (the big, general ideas) for the client and how you would outline a Marketing Plan for them. This is the beginning of the Portfolio 4 project.

For instance, what digital channels present the best opportunities for your client? YouTube or Instagram? Instagram or LinkedIn? LinkedIn or Twitter? Justify your thoughts with data and with observations about the client's needs.

Keep in mind that a social media site may not be a sufficient strategy. What else needs to happen to help this client meet goals? Does he/she have a website? Engaging content? A clear message? Do you see a need for a collaborator or influencer? Radio? Interviews? Public appearances? Street teams? You decide!

In this week's discussion board, use your initial post to discuss the strategy (the general idea) that you have in mind for your client's marketing plan.

This will likely address one or more of the main objectives you identified in the Week 1 Assignment, after you listed the client's goals. Let your classmates, and me, use our reply posts to help suggest, guide, improve, or even respectfully challenge your ideas.
