Nurse being interviewed is Dona Pina

She has been a nurse for over 15 years

She was my preceptor when i was in my last term of nursing school for my rn license

Interview took place September 11 at 5:30pm over the phone

Background information:

Dona has experience in all specialties of nursing including ob, medical surgical unit, post operative unit and emergency room.

She is apart of student volunteer programs which allows high school and college students to receive direct exposure to the hospital environment, although the volunteers cant perform any medical tasks they learn by observing and helping with other non-clinical duties.

Donas daughter is also is also in nursing school and she has followed in the footsteps of her mother, it has been donas dream to be a professor but since she is unable due to scheduling she has opted for helping volunteer students and teaching them all about the career
