Question 2: Chapter 8 The first video chosen is titled "What is Trademark Dilution? What does Trademark Dilution Mean? Trademark Dilution meaning" (The Audiopedia, 2017). The video aims to offer explanations of the meaning of trademark dilution. The video describes trademark dilution as a law concept that offers the owner of a trademark the right to forbid others from using the mark in a manner that might lessen its uniqueness. Dilution occurs only in famous trademarks and forbids other businesses that may not be in the same industry from using the mark. Trademark dilution helps to reduce cases of confusion as people will decode the use of the trademark as an affiliation with the owner of the famous mark. This is different for trademarks that are generally not popular and known. What I liked the most about the video is the in-depth explanation of the points. Additionally, examples are used to make the points clearer
