Question: What do you think about this article? would like to point out that I only investigated the surgeon in this case. The CEO does not have a medical license and therefore the Board of Medical Examiners has no jurisdiction over him. I did explain that to the District Attorney (who already knew that we could not do anything to the CEO). The surgeon was disciplined by the Board. They did not revoke his license, and I was very pleased about that. He's a very talented and promising young surgeon who made a very bad error in judgment. He is practicing in another state now and definitely learned his lesson.
