the Safeway's mission is to earn the loyalty of the customer their serve and fulfill the customers' needs with their great-quality products while focusing on serves and continuous innovation

3. What are the values of your organization/department?

The value of Safeway's as from Ms. Lee was offering the customer the products they wanted to buy at a fair price with smile and loving care

4. What goals do you have for your department/organization?

goal is to earn the loyalty of the customers she serve though the talents and passion of her employees

5. What are the strengths of your organization?

Safeway has being in the businesses since early 1900 and has developed knowledge and expertise in the food retail. Safeway's other strength is one way shopping which provide wide verity of product: food, bank, fuel station and cleaning products to its customers. Safeway's offers high quality product and own some of its own brands which allows to better control its own product. Lastly Safeway's has it store every places in the US cities.

6. What are the weaknesses of your organization?

Since Safeway large company it is not flexible; difficult to react to changes in the company. Nether weakness is the consistence which is have store everywhere makes difficult to manage and operate according to Safeway's high standard quality. Safeway is unized which mean employees could strike and stop the work at any time. This can be handle by motivating works and offering better deal so they can't just strike and every store should shouldn't always by exact rules

7. What types of training do you offer now? Is it effective? What makes it effective or ineffective?

Safeway offers development opportunities at all levels, from entry-level training to store management to professional development programs for corporate leadership to support our employee's professional growth which is very effective in encouraging employees to further their education by participating in leadership and career training programs. Training and development activity could help. This will allow employees receiving coaching from an experienced store manager, attend workshops, take Web-based training and work in each major department at a training store.

8. Are there any ongoing general performance issues with your employees?

Safeway is unized which mean employees could strike and stop the work at any time.

9. What types of training do you think would be valuable for your employees?
