An aqueous nitric acid, HNO3, solution is 29.94% by mass HNO3. The solution has a density of 1.182 g/ml. What are the molality, molarity and mole fraction of HNO3 in this solution?
Will rate ASAP . I've worked out the problem using 29.94 grams of HNO3 and then 70 grams for water (100g-29.9g=70). However, I am wondering about the density given in this problem (1.182). How does that come into play?
