Imagine the practice manager has tasked you with entering the next month of meetings and appointments in their diary. The types of meetings and appointments to be scheduled are:

• Monthly team meeting (all staff)

• Weekly update with medical staff

• Two-day conference out of town

• Inductions for new staff

• Meetings with suppliers

Answer the following:

a. Suggest at least two (2) ways you could find out how to prioritise the practice manager's appointments and meetings.

b. What are the healthcare practice procedures for different types of appointments?

c. Before you schedule the monthly staff meeting for the practice manager you will need to discuss the individual requirements of staff who are attendees. Draft an email to all staff to clarify information such as their availability, access to the meeting location, additions to the agenda and special requirements of staff.
