Assignment:

Surveys and interviews are two research tools that criminologists can use to study crime. What are the differences between surveys and interviews? If I were doing research on a group of robbers, why would a set of interviews with 20 robbers that last two hours each make a follow-up 3000 person questionaire/survey stronger in the second round of research? What could I possibly learn from the 20 interviews that would make my 3000-person survey more precise?
