The perimeter, area and volume of a tetrahedron (the solid whose faces are 4 equilateral triangles) are respectively: P = 6a; A = 31/2 a2; and V = 21/2 a3 / 12, where a is the length of an edge. An edge of the tetrahedron is measured to be x cm where x is the last two digits (replace zeros by 1) of your student ID and the uncertainty in the measurement is 1 cm, What is the percent uncertainty in the length of an edge?
