Problem

Two of the biggest topics in labor today are actually linked: raising the minimum wage and the effort to bring jobs back from overseas, or rightsourcing. The issue is that if we pay every worker at McDonald's $15/hr, imagine how much your meal would cost? Some jobs weren't meant to live on. Also, we enjoy our cheap goods made overseas, they allow us more money to buy other stuff made in the US.

Specifications

Look around you, either locally, regionally or in the news as a last resort for businesses either coming back to the US or leaving the US for another country. What reasons have they given for the switch? What are the likely effects on the local, regional and national economy? Do you have a preference when shopping for companies that do business in the US?
