Terror and Sacred History

Reflect on what you have learned about Islam and the argument I have presented above about Sacred History and history. Mine is just one interpretation of the religious impulses invovled in extremist violence. Does it help provide a religious context for what appears to be just the opposite of "Islam" as peace? Do you find problems with this interpretation. Several of you have probably taken other classes that have dealt with Islamic terrorism and might have very helpful ideas and views to add.
