A compound contains only carbon, hydrogren nitrogren, and oxygen. Combustion of 0.212 g of the compound produced 0.287 g of CO2, and 0.0419 g H2O. In another experiment 0.300 g of the compound produced 0.0667 g of NH3

What is the weight percent composition of the compound?

What is the empirical formula of the compound?

Hint: Combustion involves excess O2. Assume that all of the C ends up in CO2, and all of the H ends up in H2O. Also assume that all of the N ends up in NH3 in the second experiment.
