We had Sexual Harassment Training a few months ago, the purpose was to bring awareness to what constitutes, and how to prevent sexual harassment. The training lasted 2 hours, due to technical difficulties, making an already difficult training, seem harder to go through. One thing I noticed about the training was that it had a large portion addressing transexual, nonbinary, and LBTQ+ persons. It is vital to understand how to address the people around us respectfully, I'm unsure if it was the best execution to combine the two lessons, the way they were. I didn't benefit from this training as much as I could - due to the amount of time that was lost from technical difficulties. I believe, that if the portion of how to address people was at the beginning, or in some way had a transition between the two the flow would have made more sense. The stereotypes some use that transexual persons or persons in LGBTQ+ are the ones inflicting sexual harassment may be built upon without further clarification. Specifically, as someone who is bisexual and has been on the receiving end of harassment, it was hard for me to listen to the 2-hour training, along.
