Case Study: Aviation departments / operators should have an Emergency response Plan (ERP) and be familiar with emergency response exercises to address both flight and non-flight related emergencies as required by the IS-BAO. An ERP should be periodically reviewed. All aspects of an ERP should be tested every three years, rotating from year to year with different drills and exercises. Ideally, every person who is part of the emergency response plan should participate in at least one drill or exercise every two years.

In your opinion, what are the advantages of testing the ERP through drills and exercises?
At a time during normal business hours, the fire alarm in the hangar starts alarming. The list below includes an example of some of the factors / questions that you should consider when preparing an ERP for above mentioned scenario. What other questions of factors should you consider in this case?
