Many potential employees make a vital mistake of using their technology at inappropriate times during the day and during interviews. 

  1. Research the impacts of using technology during an interview.
  2. Determine: What would you recommend to reduce the temptation.   
  3. Research the impacts of using technology during the day as a new employee.
  4. Determine: What would you recommend to reduce the temptation.

Your report should have:

  1. Title page with your name, name of the report, and date (due date of May 7, 2016)
  2. Table of Contents (include executive summary, content sections, graph (s), research, works cited)
  3. Executive Summary (an overview of your findings: 1 - 3 paragraphs in length)
  4. Content - This is the bulk of your report. Include your determining factors and conclusions to all of the information above.  Be sure to indicate sections of the content: effective strategies, ineffective strategies, research conclusions, trends, conclusion, etc.  (The content should be 3-5 pages.) 
  5. Works Cited page - at least three sources
  6. Chart -Create a chart; do not borrow or cut and paste.  The chart can be either a bar graph or a pie chart with statistics you found on employee/interview technology usage.  Be sure to cite your source(s).  Your chart should have a title and a legend.

Format of the report:

  1. All of the content should be single spaced with no indentions. 
  2. Pages should be numbered.
  3. Refer to pages 331-339 of your textbook (10th edition) for a formal report example.  However, your report will not have a letter of transmittal (page 330) and your layout will need to be in the order above.  The background section would be limited to your creativity.
