Consider the two viewpoints expressed about protecting yourself. First is "Run, Hide, Fight" (RHF) as shown in the video posted by the Department of Homeland Security. This video is used for most workplace violence training, and a form of it is used for campus violence training. The second viewpoint is from the article "Move, Escape, Attack" (MEA). The focus on personal protection is a little different. Experts say, regardless of the position you have, that employees today should have a protection plan. Your discussion post should be at least 3 sentences that detail your position (RHF or MEA) about safety during an active shooter situation and why you support that position. If you have a position different from either of these, feel free to share it. The idea behind this assignment is to take a few minutes to think about your personal safety plan.
