In an inventory system, all parts are either manufactured or purchased part. A given part can be either manufactured or purchased or both. Purchased parts have price in addition to name and cost as attributes. Manufactured parts have only cost and no price or vendor attributes. Manufactured parts have ISO level as a special property while purchased have "supplies" relationship with possible vendors. A vendor can supply multiple parts up to a maximum of 120 while a purchased part can be supplied by at most one vendor at a given time. A part must have a vendor but a vendor need not supply any part.
