Using anamino acid analyzer with the first sample, you are able todetermine that the 4 amino acids present in the peptide aremethionine, valine, leucine and phenylalanine. Taking anothersample of the peptide and the digestive enzyme chymotrypsin you areable to get a dipeptide containing the two residues phenylalanineand methionine. Using the third sample and a carboxypeptidase youget the residue valine. Using these analyses, determine the aminoacid sequence. Give the three-letter amino acid abbreviations givenin Table A and use a hyphen to separate theabbreviations. Follow the convention of starting with the aminoterminus amino acid and ending with the carboxyl terminus amino acid.
