A state law enforcement agency has come up with three different methods for publicizing burglaryprevention measures during vacation periods. Recognizing that there are more burglaries in larger communities than in smaller communities, three communities have been randomly selected from each size category, then assigned to a treatment group.

The accompanying results are the number of home burglaries during the test month for communities in which the respective publicity methods were employed. Use the 0.05 level in comparing the publicity techniques.
