Percent of 35 potential facilities and services that are provided by the hospital
The goal is to fit the best multiple regression model to the response (infection risk).
Do an analysis using the first 108 observations.
Use the stepwise regression method to see which model is the best. Repeat using subset regression.
Do they agree?
Are there any outliers in the data?
Look for x-outliers, y-outliers, and high-influence points.
Come up with one model that you think best describes the data and can be used for future predictions.
Show the residual plot for this one. Does the model seem appropriate?
Use this model to predict (using prediction interval) y for the last 5 observations of the data and see if the model is doing well.
Generate a 95 % confidence interval for the difference in proportions of patients who report pain relief.

Suppose you are on a test and are asked to determine whether the given experiment is binomial, Poisson, or neither. What are you going to think about to determine which test to use. Do you have a checklist? How would you approach this problem?
Suppose a simple random sample of size 43 is selected from a population with = 11. Find the value of the standard error of the mean in each of the following cases.
Sample without replacement when testing batches of products. When sampling without replacement, should you use the multiplication rule for independent or dependent events.
What is the P-value of the test, assume the standard deviation is 3 years, a 95% confidence interval for the average time
Imagine a shift manager at a manufacturing plant is gathering data on the number of units workers assemble during two different shifts over 10 different days.
Which of the variables below do you think will be roughly normally distributed? Please select all that apply.
Sample of 25 rockets in his latest spaceship. He thinks they might weight less than the average rocket. The sample has on average 102 lbs with a standard deviation of 10 lbs. The average rocket weights 106 lbs.
