Kai has a difficult decision to make. Two friends are getting married and a mutual friend has suggested that the larger group of close friends combine their money to purchase some seal products for the happy couple as a wedding gift. Maybe some nice seal skin boots, coats, bags? Kai remembers as a child seeing seals in zoos and in the wild loves animals but isn't vegetarian and even owns a leather coat. On the one hand, Kai wants to support whatever the friends think would be a good gift but...on the other hand, is not comfortable that seal products are the best option. Based on your understanding of motivation and related concepts, what observations can you make about Kai? What advice do you have for Kai?
