You have three light-bulbs in series. The first is 60W the next is 120W and the last is 240W. They are all at 120v. Which light-bulb has the highest resistance. I use the equation.P=I^2R and found the 240W to be the highest. This is wrong. Which light-bulb is highest and why? Why does I^2R not work.
