Make sure to include "core" identities that are present at birth (e.g. gender, race/ethnicity, etc.), as well as "secondary identities" that result from life experiences and choices (e.g. politics, religion, education status, SES, etc.). This will be shared with your peers, so only reveal identities you are comfortable discussing with your classmates.

Lastly, reflect on your identities, attach a photo of your multicultural self worksheet, and discuss the following questions:

Choose one of your identities that has a negative stereotype associated with it, that does not apply to you personally. Discuss how it would feel if someone assumes that because you possess that identity, you also fit the stereotype.
Think about a negative stereotype that exists for someone with a different identity (perhaps a more marginalized identity) in one of your identity categories. How do you think it feels for them to face the negative stereotypes associated with their identity?
Think about the concept of intersectionality - how two or more identities combine to create a unique new experience. For instance, though two women share the identity of "woman", a black woman and white woman may have had completely different experiences in life based on the intersection of their race and gender. Do you see any places where your identities intersect to create a unique experience for you, with unique privileges or challenges? What if one of those identities changed to an underprivileged identity? How would your life be different?
